Warnock - ‘good old Boris’

It’s the first time I have ever posted on this subject or used the word clique, so it’s an ‘original’ post for myself. To save me repeating myself again, see above for why I chose this thread to raise it.

I’m not sure why offering an opinion equates to self-importance, if that was the case then it would equally apply to you and your opinion. You chose to reply to me remember.? If it is so tedious why bother replying and questioning it? You are continuing the ‘tedium’.

Apology accepted, thanks.

As someone with twenty years experience of FMTTM you'll have been aware of these same arguments and with the term clique.

But as it was "original to you" it needed to be said regardless. Giving these otherwise rote arguments the ballast, the gravitas they needed to be taken seriously. And despite this you deny being self important...

Do these posters not realise what they are doing? You have stifled discussions and opinion unless it meets your own agenda.
erm, if you read the thread people have put differing opinions, if those people are unable to back up their point in a discussion that's their issue.

the discussion is stiffled by one viewpoint being completely illogical.

Like I said earlier, everyone is entitled to their viewpoint, but not all viewpoints are equal, some are just plain batshit crazy, we don't have to accept that those batshit views are free to be aired unchallenged.

The irony of people moaning about people saying they don't like the managers politics...

If you want free speech stop moaning about people having their opinions on the managers politics..
For hopefully the last time, I’m ‘moaning’ about how insufferable this board has become with the politics and how intolerable people are with anyone who’s views are different to theirs.

Try to read those words in the order they are written. If it doesn’t sink in, repeat the instructions.

Because NW has a ‘different opinion’ people are calling him a t@@t , telling him to ‘f off out the club’ and if the going gets tough at the games they will call him a ‘Tory C@nt’.
That all seem acceptable to you for daring to like a different political party?

Have you noticed how some on these "new" members joined the site a year ago or so but only just started posting.
It's almost as if some of them have a stable of usernames, trot them out one after one, but look I've been here years I just don't normally post on politics 🙂

Ermmm let me think. Why on earth could that be? What happened a year ago?
Could that be be because that’s when the new board was formed?

So I haven't seen anyone call him a tw@t, feel free to highlight that, however people are allowed an opinion on Warnock, his opinions, and his use of the platform of Middlesbrough manager to promote political opinions. IF you don't like that, then you probably need to grow up a bit.

He can like a different party, but as soon as he says that, he is free to be criticised for it. That's life, get over it. He doesn't have a pedestal that allows him immunity from criticism, as no one does.

At no point did I say it was acceptable to call him a tw@t either. The fact you have to make up nonsense like that and put supposition about what people will call him some imagined future, makes your viewpoint look very weak indeed.

I think you’re missing the point, Warnock can have whatever political views he likes, but when he’s in a Middlesbrough Football Club press conference people expect him to be explaining about the insufferable garbage we’ve had to endure for months rather than waxing lyrical about Boris Johnson!

Would suggest Warnock has a wander around the area away from Hurworth, or gets involved with the food banks that the fans collect for every week just so some people in the town can actually eat, then see what he thinks of good old Boris.
Nothing worse than someone from a working class background, who makes a few quid then is clearly detached from reality.

Why are you getting so muddled up? Calm down. Read my post again,

Why are you getting so muddled up? Calm down. The last point was a question, it had a question mark at the end of the sentence. It wasn’t an accusation that you said it was acceptablei
The first page has someone calling him a ‘t*t’. The other things mentioned are all there. Others I didn’t mention include ‘gullible old fool’. Have a re-read if you want proof, it all there. Pointlessly, petty name calling of the current Boro boss because people don’t like his political opinion.

Good night.
