Warnock - ‘good old Boris’

who are you to decide what is important to other people. You are welcome to your view, but many people think football managers shouldn't be using a press conference to big up a political figure....particularly a corrupt murderous one

If you or anyone else feel that strongly about it contact the club.

You could add his assertion that the players were unanimous in deciding not to any longer take the knee as they didn’t agree with the politics behind BLM.

I'd quite happily see him **** off and leave to be honest. Was wary about him before he joined, due to his previous rantings.

I posted on here months back how he'd changed my mind round, but his inane ramblings the past few weeks and dreadful performances added now to this, he can happily do one.

Does he not realise how much the Tories have decimated this area? I know Gibbo's already abandoned previous morals due to some money and an mbe waived under his nose. Very easily to go back to despising parts of our club.

I like big Neil even more now (y) ... speaking the truth - who would want the EU to organise our vaccines  if we were still in

I cannot think of a European country I'd like to be in less than this one right now. We must be one of the least progressive places on earth at the moment.
I'm ashamed to say that the problem isn't even the British, it's specifically the English - it's us. I can't ever remember seeing so many people displaying such awful, I'm Alright Jack attitudes towards others.

The NHS, a great Labour institution, has done a great job rolling out the vaccine and I’ve no doubt some of our top scientists have contributed significantly to the global scientific effort 👍👍
The Conservatives have been running our NHS for 44 of its 71 years, and fundamentally believe it’s there for everyone in the country to rely on free at the point of use. (y)(y)(y)

The NHS budget will go up by £33.9 billion by 2023-24. That’s the biggest cash boost in its history.

We’re providing £850 million for 20 hospital upgrades, £2.7 billion for the first six new hospitals, and seed funding so that work on 34 more can make progress.

And 78 hospital trusts will receive state-of-the-art MRI, CT and mammography screening machines, so cancer can be detected more quickly to boost survival rates.

Over 1 million NHS staff – nurses, midwives and cleaners – are getting a well-deserved pay rise of at least 6.5% per cent and doctors will also see their pay increase.

Good if it all happens and as long as this isn‘t about boosting it up to sell it to the Americans or make it insurance based.

I never trust the Tories with the NHS.

It’s just disappointing you have to point that out, it should be a given rather than a ‘well done Tories’ statement.

That's from the Tory 2019 manifesto.

Did 1m NHS staff get that 6.5% pay rise?

I said at the time it was basically spin. I think what he meant was "I don't think they defend the way I want my defenders to play". I suspect he'd turn his nose up at quite a few international defenders, because they try to play a bit etc.

He has his methods and his record is outstanding at this level. I do think he has good instincts and a way about him that connects to most players. I think that's what you get with him.

I don't think he's particularly clever or inventive etc. but sometimes to be successful as a manager you don't have to be. It can be quite a simple game and I think he's a master at that approach. When it works he simplifies the game for players and makes them all feel like they're Pele.

Fingers crossed it works for us.
agreed. it works generally for him, although he does have his failures on his record and for all his promotions he's only had 1 in the last the seasons.

His method is to keep things very simple tactically, it's great up to a certain level, but has it's limits. As the game becomes more professional, more tactical, more intelligent, his ways struggle more. A good side can always play around a Warnock side, which is why his premiership record is so poor.
