So owning ltd companies means I'm not a capitalist? - Interesting point of view....Means absolutely nothing.
Could just mean you are tax efficient rather than looking for growth and expansionSo owning ltd companies means I'm not a capitalist? - Interesting point of view....
We don’t, we lease them from the USA, we require our Subs to be calibrated and rearmed at King’s Bay in Georgia, all our testing is done under USA supervision at Cape Canaveral, many of the key technologies are directly controlled by Washington, including targeting software, guidance systems, gravitational and positioning information etcDon't dispute the missile aspect. Just the part where you said we don't own our own nukes.
What are Aldermaston and Coulport for?We don’t, we lease them from the USA, we require our Subs to be calibrated and rearmed at King’s Bay in Georgia, all our testing is done under USA supervision at Cape Canaveral, many of the key technologies are directly controlled by Washington, including targeting software, guidance systems, gravitational and positioning information etc
The warheads are manufactured at Aldermaston but they're pretty useless without missiles to stick them to.What are Aldermaston and Coulport for?
I didn't say how effective they would be without missiles. Just that we have our own.The warheads are manufactured at Aldermaston but they're pretty useless without missiles to stick them to.
My issue is you say you can’t believe the stupidity of those that voted brexit or how idiotic the nation is.Ok. Funny how no one bothers to read my explanation. Just constantly bangs on about it. Very tedious
Don’t know if it France as such more the French fishermen protestingFrance are 100% in the wrong over this... time for NATO to act - it's a provocation against a sovereign state and its crown dependencies
They’re ran as a US/U.K. partnership with Lockheed Martin and Halliburton being the two major American partners, you have the AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) who are responsible for the British ran components and they’re 2/3rd’s American, Jacob’s and Lockheed Martin, again, with Serco the U.K. partner, the CEO of AWE is Kevin Bilger, who was at Lockheed Martin for over 30 years and is American. What are Aldermaston and Coulport for?
Tell that to Jack Bauer in season 2 of 24. Poor lad flew one in a Cessna to the middle of the Mojave desert. The warheads are manufactured at Aldermaston but they're pretty useless without missiles to stick them to.
I do and have. It's pretty dumb to make a mistake and still believe in the mistake 5 years later, see all the problems that mistake is causing and STILL stand by the mistake. Now THATS dumbMy issue is you say you can’t believe the stupidity of those that voted brexit or how idiotic the nation is.
Yet you voted brexit by voting Tory at the last election mogg patel Gove and de Pfeffel Johnson all BREXITEERS it was one and the same.
by all means call brexiteers idiotic morons if you accept the same culpability.
Ok but I'm sure you get the point. We own the bits on the end of the missiles but we can't guide the missiles on our own. It's all academic anyway because a nuclear war with France or anyone else isn't going to happen. They are a greater military power than us though.I didn't say how effective they would be without missiles. Just that we have our own.
This YouGov poll suggest thatI do and have. It's pretty dumb to make a mistake and still believe in the mistake 5 years later, see all the problems that mistake is causing and STILL stand by the mistake. Now THATS dumb
im noJust remember SmallTown, there's more Brexiters than remainers
This YouGov poll from January suggests you are right NYThat is by no means a majority of the population in either case. Far more voted for Remain parties in the general election, but sadly we do not have a democratic electoral system. Now that people can see the fiasco that is Brexit, it is likely that a referendum held now would have a different outcome.
Fair enoughI do and have. It's pretty dumb to make a mistake and still believe in the mistake 5 years later, see all the problems that mistake is causing and STILL stand by the mistake. Now THATS dumb
It’s the grey figures you need to look at as this is what caused brexit and will decide any vote. People often concentrate on the definites and ignore the marginals as these are things that decide referendums and elections. This YouGov poll suggest that
im no

You seemingly don't understand how our nuclear weapon system works, and nor does American_Mary, who once again insists on posting half truths as facts. And I bet he responds by posting the Parliamentary report addressing the Greenpeace claim he misunderstood before. There's more to nuclear arms than just warheads. The missiles are leased from the US and the guidance systems are calibrated in the US and rely on data from the US.
They are a greater military power than us though.

Its about the same diameter as your thumb at its thickest part and about 3-5 inches long. How big is it like?
