Like the sound of that.
I love a cold sandwich and hot chip combo at a pub.I've just made a bizarre breakfast sandwich, but it was surprisingly nice - part baked roll, sausage, scrambled egg, finely diced tomato mixed with coriander and lime juice, then a drop of pineapple and scotch bonnet hot sauce.
If I'm having a pub lunch and there's chips involved, I don't think you can beat a tuna mayo (with chips inside the sandwich obviously)
That is the bit that makes it. The tuna mayo (especially if it has red onion or cucumber mixed in) tastes fresh and cool and the chips offset that!I love a cold sandwich and hot chip combo at a pub.
If I'm at home, leftover beef with warm onion gravy, red cabbage and horseradish.
The PB+J burger at the Fat Hippo in Newc is one of the greatest things I have ever tried. Peanut Butter and Bacon Jam on the burger. To this day if I'm making homemade burgers, some peanut butter usually goes into mine.Peanut butter and bacon. Thought it sounded vile until I tried it. A bit sweet and sour.
