One of me best mates on a ventilator

Best wishes to him.

Most if not all of us are in isolation but people are still getting the virus. It would be useful for those in isolation if there was some feedback from the government or NHS as to how these people are getting infected. Are the flaunting the lockdown, are the not social distancing, are they primarily people who are still working. What are they doing wrong that others aren't. Obviously the government stopped tracking the disease in the early days but this information would have been so useful in stopping people getting infected.

Its awful when it gets close to you. My cousin who lives in Stockport was rushed into hospital yesterday and shes been tested positive and now on a ventilator. Her daughter and grandson rushed up from Derbyshire to find her in a right state following a distressed call from her and immediately called the paramedics. She is 68.

Rushed in to St James this morning.
Jaysus - he is as fit as a fiddle
Really knocked me for 6 this and his wife, as you can imagine is in bits.
Oh man
1finny best wishes to you, your mate and his family. As I posted on another thread I lost my lovely close friend last night & it’s absolutely heartbreaking.

Hoping for a positive outcome for you fin my.

I have been mildly symptomatic for a week and it is one of the worst things I have experienced so I can’t imagine what the hospital cases are going through. I thought I was coming out of it this morning but now my chest is playing up again

I mentioned by cousin above who was taken into hospital yesterday and was tested positive for Covid19. She has in the last few hours passed away. It is devastating. She was well a week ago when I spoke with her. It has hit me very hard. Finny I hope tour mate finds the strength to pull through. Stay safe and at home.

Zoo so sorry for your loss. That’s the first I’ve heard on here who has lost someone to this virus and that sadly will not be the last. As RKAngel says good thoughts and our wishes to the family. And to your mate too Finny.
