Morrisons will bar customers who refuse to wear face coverings

Maybe I live in a godforsaken fenland town in the middle of nowhere and I haven’t been out much since March but since it was made mandatory I’ve never not once seen one person NOT wearing a mask in a supermarket.

So I’m sorry but I’ve literally no idea what you lot are moaning on about.

"you lot"?

I know a horrible gobshite of a woman at home, confrontational and aggressive to the extreme.

I saw her wondering around Tesco without a mask with some badge on about how she has social anxiety so can't wear one.

It's absolute boIIocks.

No mask, no shopping. Home delivery or get someone else to go in for you, I can't believe the numbers of people who suddenly have such restrictive respiratory conditions it is impossible for them to wear a mask.

Or maybe I'm just cynical?

Sainsbury’s enforcing the same rule on masks as well as single shoppers only. Makes sense - some people think it’s a day out and take the whole family with not one of them wearing masks.
I’m not sure the single shopper idea is practical. Especially for older folk. Common sense needs to prevail. Seems lacking.

I assume it will be a decent amount of pressure and chew for some minimum wage lad arguing with some knuckle dragging meat head.

Hopefully everyone will be respectful and responsible*.

* I don't know what I'm basing this hope on.

Has anything been said about why the one way systems and limited numbers were dropped but then not reinstated when Tiers etc. were introduced?

I’m guessing over the next few weeks we’ll be covid shaming couples who dare to go shopping together in Sainsbury’s. How dare anyone be going food shopping with your partner. There’s a pandemic on, you’ll be killing people just by going out to do your weekly shop you know.

Its a good move would make me more likely to shop there, they will always be some who abuse the system but hopefully this will deter those who just "can't be arsed," putting a mask on

I hope so!

Good, the medical part exemption though, I really find it hard to imagine what medical situation would stop you wearing a piece of cloth on your face.

It’s all about minimising the risk and putting less people at risk, when you think about it wearing a mask is a no brainier and the less people in the shop the better, remember food shopping is essential, not a social trip out.
