Yes, always want the home nations to do well... always have, even when ive had sweaty socks in my face gloating about their latest victory in whatever tournament weve just been knocked out of...

I agree on north east teams nothing better than Sunderland being woeful but don’t mind home nations doing well. Obviously would be good to smash Scotland at the actual tournament aswell if we got chance!

Yes. My dad was a sheep farmer in the Scottish Borders as were all his family, my grandad on my mums side was from Montrose. I cry in Dougie McLean songs.

My grandparents were Scottish, and I've always felt a strong connection to Scotland, so yes.
British solidarity and all that.
I would be more enthusiastic if I thought the feeling would be reciprocated by Scotland fans if it was England in their situation, which we know it wouldn't.
Hope Northern Ireland make it too.

Always want the home nations to do well, it would be great to play them in a major tournament, hopefully in front of fans.

I am not sure, I am just weighing up my thoughts.
1. Scotland supporters generally take glee in England failing to perform
2. Nicola Sturgeon will try to find a way to politicise it
3. Pro Indies will see it as a signal to break the Union
and finally and most disturbingly
4. People with funny, strange and incoherent accents who have hitherto pretended they have had no interest in international football will be scouring their lofts for their tam o’shanters, dusting them doon and jigging round their gardens with an old can of Dryborough‘s Keg Heavy in hand to the tune of Rod Stewarts ‘This Old Heart Of Mine’
on balance, its a NO from me

I had a argument with my mother-in-law, who is from Aberdeen, and insisted that Stewart was one of Scotland's greatest exports. She wouldn't have it that he was a Londoner....

Never had a problem with the Scots but in football terms I don't want them to do well. Just a tribal football thing I suppose. When Andy Murray said he didn't want England to win people were up in arms. I couldn't understand the reaction, why would he he's a Scot? Proved to me he actually understood what supporting a team was all about.
