Scotland

Well I have just had a text from my grandad saying get in up the tartan army. That will do me. He’s happy. Great interview by Christie at the end there
Just seen Christie's interview, his raw emotion is great to see.

Well done Scotland, thatbbug game at Wembley is something to look forward to after this **** show of a year

The only shame for them is that the Tartan Army won’t get to travel on to the continent - assuming of course come June we can travel.

Even though two of their group games are at Hampden, the other at Wembley, so they should have a good chance of getting through anyway, it's harder to get knocked out of the Euro groups than it is to progress now.

Portugal won the tournament in 2016 after finishing 3rd in their group without winning a game.

At least with them playing in the UK, whatever happens, they won't be 'home before the postcards' as per usual. ;):giggle:

Gives us all something to look forward to. Didn't keegan manage England the last time we played in a euro playoff I believe. Can't beat an England Scotland game.

I was getting flashbacks to England Colombia. Last minute corner, header into the ground. Then win on penalties. Easy.....

I go with the I want any of the home countries to win brigade unless they are playing England.
Scotland were easily the best team last night for 80 minutes. The front three especially Dykes were impressive. Then they were subbed by McBurnie who was/is useless and that fullback come centre forward Paterson. Whoever thought he was a forward needs their head examining. They know nowt about football and will never get manager of the month.
Well done Scotland

I can't understand those who said no, as much as you might dislike them, surely you want to play them as the rivalry creates a really enjoyable tense atmosphere?

As much as you lot hate Newcastle and Sunderland, you must enjoy being in the same league and playing against them? Or do you more enjoy laughing at Sunderland being in a lower league and trudging off for a night match against Wycombe instead?
