the state election boards decide the rules, if the rules say you can continue till x date, then as long as you deliver by X date you can take a break.

Cheers for the clarity Maz. Loads of people kicking up a fuss on twitter connecting none existent dots about ballot dumping and pausing the count etc. All very messy.

all set up by the Republicans,
they set the state elections rules
they then sent the email for poll watchers and filled the capacity of watchers
then they started legal action to say that their staff could not get in to buildings to watch the polls
and are saying that the rules (that they created) are proof of a broken system and evidence of Democratic mail fraud.

everything is under lock and key (especially for mail ballots) with security and officials from both parties. and ofcourse 24 hr security

Looking likely that the Orangeutang will lose so how far will he go to stay in power? Force recounts at the point of a National Guard gun? Imprison Biden and Harris on some Trumped up charges sometime before the inauguration and declare emergency rule?
Or will he prove to be full of **** and a miserable coward? US is a hairs breadth away from a fascist coup, unless Trump wins, in which case it will already have happened anyway.

Doesn’t matter if he loses then he’s out on jan 20 regardless.

This is all written down and trunk can’t change it that’s the thing with written constitutions they can be a tad binding.

Yes, because Trump has respected their constitution so far.

He has just tweeted that he claims wins in several states where counts are still ongoing like soe sort of Central Asian dictator. Guilliani has just said the election is being stolen because democrats won't allow polls to be observed. **** is getting real now.

Trump isn’t a dictator by the way he only thinks he is. Elections do matter a fact he seemed to have overlooked
