Trafalgar Sq. Now

Funny how this protest gets people's backs up but the others that have happened over the past few months are given a wide berth.

Believe it or not but this country is still a free country and people are allowed to protest. It's not like these guys and gals are blocking roads with big pink boats, spraying dye on the front of government owned buildings or defacing memorials and throwing statues in the sea is it?

This country is a free country, yes, but it isn’t a free-for-all country. We have laws these people are failing to comply with (I appreciate that is what they are objecting to). By behaving in this manner they are going to put themselves, and in time, others at risk. They are protesting about rules the majority of people generally agree with and arguably feel don’t go far enough.

Weddings, sporting events (for the players) and demonstrations are exempt from the rule of 6 as long as they are "organised in complians with COVID-19 secure guidance and subject to strict risk assessment".

Different rules for different protests, agree or disagree?

Which this one doesn’t appear anywhere near strict Covid 19 guidelines or a strict risk assessment.

I have no problem with any protest so long as they comply with whatever the law is at the time.

When people do the Police need to be robust in their application of law and order. Tactics may have to differ, and I dare say will change from protest to protest as they learn lessons too.

Are there really? Perhaps some protests attended by knuckle daggers have a far higher concentration or idiots amongst their ranks starting trouble?

Ah the average white middle aged man who's probably been kicked down the road more times than we can count by relentless cuts by governments are referred to as knuckle draggers automatically.

Gotcha.

Stereotyping 1-0-1.

We don't like what they are protesting about, bloody knuckle draggers.

That’s not what I said is it? Just wondering why you’re focusing on the white, middle aged people, I never said that. Yet you weren’t too happy with the BLM protests were you? And weren’t you put on the naughty step a while back for some pretty questionable comments made during a bit of a meltdown?

I think the term knuckle draggers has been overused so much as to have no meaning or effect any more.

They have a point, and every right to protest. Inviting David Icke to speak (lizard people) doesn't help their cause.
For all Icke's past, the only time he was ever censored from mainstream platforms is this year. One has to wonder why.
