Yes, I was too.
We were 2-0 down to 2 goals scored by a former postman who'd won the Rumbelows Sprint Challenge the year before. I think his surname was WIlliams, can't recall his first.
He didn't last very long in football: proof pace isn't enough?

Bonus point if you can remember which player Boro entered in the Sprint Challenge.

OK, looking at his career 3/4 of those appearances were at third or fourth tier level.
11 goals in 80 PL games is a record that is easily eclipsed by that of Devon White.

Nicky Mohan is correct, though I think he never actually participated; as we reached the semis that year, all players who came close to playing in the final were withdrawn. So Williams only really won by default.;)
