Admire your brutally honest and frank admission. Good luck with your battleEven as a person who has put my family in financial difficulty many times due to gambling, as someone who has almost lost my family numerous times, someone who is still paying debts off and will be for years due to gambling, as someone who has considered suicide many times due to gambling, I still don't think there should be a blanket ban on online gambling.
I do think advertising gambling should be banned including TV, radio, in stadiums and on shirts.
I do think gambling should be banned anywhere children are present. So if a pub allows children, there should be no fruit machines etc. If a sports stadium allows children in, then there shouldn't be bookies in the concourse. As someone who attends groups with other like minded people, gambling habits are often formed during childhood.
Online slots, casinos etc should be banned along with the machines in bookies.
