All different styles of music in each place? Which would be the final choice?Either Austin, New Orleans, Memphis or Nashville.
For the live music scene.
Yes, I would agree, wasn't sure about there or Colombia when I posted.I've always fancied going to Montevideo. It seems like an attractive place and more peaceful than Buenos Aires.
Another interesting point. I would love to go there too but part of me wonders if it would just be like Northern Scotland.. Could you go for 3+months?My other half, son (and at the time unborn second son!), travelled across Canada for a month back in 2018 as a joint 40th birthday present to ourselves. Although we loved everywhere we went Montreal was our absolute favourite, lovely waterfront area and the park up the top of the mountain range was great with spectacular views. Just so much to do there and even poutine tasted great!
If I was going to go anywhere new for 3 months it would be Nova Scotia, Canada. Heard so much about it from the natives while we were in Canada, sounds like a truly beautiful place and very relaxing.
New York you have to eat out every day too.
As ex in the city will tell you, New Yorkers use ovens purely for storage!

I've seen Iguazu from both sides too and you really do have to.Iguaçu Falls are absolutely stunning, I’ve seen them from both sides of the river and i marginally prefer the view from the Brazilian side, but either way they are spectacular.
Fish, ha why? There's no where you think would be interesting to see and experience?Probably just stay at home.
Oh absolutely. When I get older and we have kids we’ll be out of here.Yes I lived in London for 20 years and loved the buzz but wait until you get to my age
Next time you're in a city take a look around - you don't see too many older people, right?
Hold the time you phone. Are you telling me Sarah Jessica Parker lied to me???Sorry, but that's nonsense! Many people do eat out regularly, but to say you have to every day is rubbish. Don't forget I'm married to a new yorker! I've been well over 30 times myself and we mostly eat in at Mrs Fufkin's apartment which she still has and lets out to a friend. We have dozens of friends in Manhattan and Brooklyn and many of those eat out no more than folk do here, some of them are on very big salaries too so could easily afford to. They get meals delivered quite often, but the vast majority of our friends and family cook at home, especially those with kids. Happy hour for after work drinks is more prevalent, and that can turn into dining out, but you do not have to eat out every day
To be more serious I'd fancy Scandinavia. Like the idea of being in the mountains and fjords and seeing what life was like in a place that seems to have its priorities better aligned than here. Summer obviously. The one thing that'd put me off a permanent move would be the weather - coldness but more so darkness (the same issue I have with this country).Fish, ha why? There's no where you think would be interesting to see and experience?
What was it like?now THERE'S a good call. And the view from the bay. Sadly I've already been there so I can't put that on my list
Brilliant. I got lucky with the weather but the views across the bay are really good. I also managed to use pidgin Spanish to negotiate a stadium tour of Anoeta. What was it like?
Best place I’ve been. The warmest and friendliest people I’ve ever met. A paradise between the mountains and the ocean. Why?
