Why are the Far Right rising?

Did it not quadruple under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. I do not care tho as my opinion on all political party’s is they are all lying I trust worthy barstools. Are you saying we are in control of immigration
 
It’s because mass immigration of low skilled non native speaking migrants fleeing countries they don’t need to flee erodes society.
I’m not against immigration by the way but you only have to look at parliament road to see how integration works. People stick together.
Large parts of Rotterdam are apparently no go areas, as is Marseille, Paris, Naples amongst others.
Spain has less of a problem because the police there don’t **** about.
I think that’s the reason behind right wingism in Europe. I think some of the skandanavian countries won’t be far behind.

What constitutes a no go area? I'd say a lot Naples is no go, but not because of immigration!
 
Aye, this board certainly doesn’t reflect what people talk about down the local pub/club and at work, on here appears to be lots of spokesmen, and probably not even affected by what they’re arguing about.

Exactly, they are not illegal immigrants until their application has been rejected. The problem is in the painfully inadequate processing for the poor b***ds. It's going to get worse too as resources become critical- so got to get used to it and prepare.

Keep in mind nearly half the number are students on student visas which is a result of the crises in higher education where by the tuition fees have not changed in many years. These foreign students basically make up the shortfall in fees from home students.

Aren't government looking to reduce this significantly? Reduce the people paying lots of money to come here to learn, to make some numbers look better.

End of the day, you could put an A4 fact sheet together to prove objectively that immigration was good or bad for the economy. ONS will have the data.
But this is an emotional issue. And data can't change an emotional opinion.
For example, benefit cheats continue to be called out as issue despite ONS data proving we gain more from unpaid benefits than we lose from benefit fraud.
Imo the only answer is to improve people's lots in life. This is hard I suppose given the state we are currently in. Hopefully a new government coming in can give some hope back to folks.

Are you able to explain what you mean by 'no go area'?
 
The far right are rising, in my opinion, due to the ease in modern times that they can get their messages out there without fact checking.

Just look at what Cambridge Analytica accomplished. They got caught but there will be more advanced versions of this influencing all sorts on social media etc.
