Saw Nadine Shah the last of many times playing a church at Leeds Live backed by a a band of (about 7) top session players to a smallish audience. I thought at the time WTF is she doing everything she makes must go on paying the band. She still seems at the same level so that gamble never paid off. Fortunately the music remains great. I love this after a couple of plays it really gets to you. Excellent track.

His beautiful and haunting music was an inspiration to Philip Glass and Steve Reich, who called him “the godfather of minimalism.” Songs and Symphoniques features a diverse cast of special guests, and showcases the work of five arrangers from Ghost Train Orchestra, all digging deep to revitalize Moondog’s uplifting message for a new generation.
