I know it’s broken Britain but driving down the A19 listening to DAB radio with it constantly losing a signal is a joke. Surely technology must have improved by now to have this sorted??
Try driving over the A66 to the lakes …….. …. …………I know it’s broken Britain but driving down the A19 listening to DAB radio with it constantly losing a signal is a joke. Surely technology must have improved by now to have this sorted??
I get good reception in my car except for one dead spot at the exit from Morrisons.
In my house it can be good one day then the same stations break up the next.
Also my car radio is newer so may be able to receive DAB+ but I don't even know if any stations broadcast in DAB+. It was a roll-out mess from the start.
The car manufacturer and technology definitely is a factor. I drive the same routes in my VW as I do in my wife's Honda and the signal drops out a lot more in her carNot helpful to aa lot of people, but I've never had a single drop out here in Hertfordshire / north London. Even when up in North Yorkshire it's been pretty much 100% as well.
23 reg Volvo for comparison.
We have a Honda too and the only time I heard it drop off was yesterday in the North Pennines. The car manufacturer and technology definitely is a factor. I drive the same routes in my VW as I do in my wife's Honda and the signal drops out a lot more in her car
