I didn't know she read fmttm.

Is she here?

Hello, Mieka 👋

Mieka says hi and also sings Grace Kelly just for you:

I could be brown, I could be blue, I could be violet sky
I could be hurtful, I could be purple, I could be anything you like
Gotta be green, gotta be mean, gotta be everything more
Why don't you like me, why don't you like me?
Why don't you walk out the door?
Getting angry doesn't solve anything

I'm the CEO of several companies and have been at different times a CEO of about 50 companies globally over 25 years+. In that time I have never seen behaviour displayed by Gibson so the correlation of psychopathic traits doesn't exist, or I have never seen it. You are more likely to see this behaviour in a pub than a boardroom.
Fine, I didn't conduct the research, but it does exist.

The worst type of Tory is a Teesside Tory. I don't mean those who vote Conservative, but those who attempt to be a Tory Councellor, or worse MP, despite their record in government in the last 13 years. There is absolutely nothing to be proud of in that time. They have made everything worse, yet the local Tories attempt to lay claim to making progress.
Hey, don't be mean to Mieka. Just because she repainted safety bollards from black to red because she didn't like the colour doesn't mean she's a brainless idiot!

It does exist but atypical is over playing it. There are several industries and roles where psychopaths are more prevelenat than the 1% of the general population. I believe it’s around 10% for CEOs, finance, actors etc. still that means 90% of CEOs are not psychopaths, so it would be a surprise to find any individual ceo to behave like they’re a character from goodfellas or casino

OK fine, well more specifically from what I know of Gibson and have heard etc over the years, I wasn't that surprised when I read this article. And I also wasn't justifying it.

The super-rich, however, I would say probably very regularly display bullying behaviour behind closed doors. Witnessed that myself but obviously can't speak for 100% of them. Also doesn't mean I'm justifying it.

There are always feisty CEO's and also loud confrontations but I have never seen behaviour and the threats as displayed by Gibson. It's not just about wealth and power either as I have been in board meetings with many people who have wealth that would dwarf that of Gibson.

That’s fine but other people won’t have heard what you have heard, so best not to project your lack of surprise on them. This is the first time many of us have heard him in this manner and the first time we’ve heard him in relation to this corrupt ‘Toxic Teesside Tory Theft’.

That's like saying a murderous intent exists within fans of The Beatles because of the actions of Charles Manson.
I'm saying the research exists, not that the correlation exists. I haven't conducted my own research, but I certainly can't disprove it. I have dealt with many CEOs, but never been one. None of them have ever spoken to me like that, but I could absolutely imagine one or two them behaving like that in certain situations.

I will say, once more, that this doesn't justify Gibson's behaviour in that particular meeting (or any other meeting).

Exactly, it was f*cking puerile, it couldn’t have been any worse if he’d added……..”My dad’s bigger than your dad”.

Have you seen your avatar?😀

Whatever your thoughts on Mieka, Gibson, Private Eye, Houchen....
I don't know if drawing attention to that particular post where you call her a t!t is something to be proud of.
Apparently there is no such thing as bad publicity but I really can't see that doing anything good for the board.
Appreciate what you're saying, but she and the rest of them on Twitter already think we're a bunch of "loony lefties" anyway

I think it’s Sociopaths, but when you think that the number for the prison population is only 15% that’s pretty disturbing.

FYI ...... not wanting a dispute, but this looks like the source from Forbes

Senior Execs and Psychopathy

BTW, finding any behaviour 3.5 times more prevalent in any group is incredibly significant - both statistically and psychologically.

The original research this refers to is using the Hare Psychopathy Scale (and Hare himself is co-author) in a very respected journal. So, in this field, considered very reliable.
