* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Huddersfield Match-Day Thread *

That's that. We've been way off it this afternoon.

First time we've capitulated under Carrick. Huddersfield are every bit as awful as their league position would suggest.

Potentially unpopular opinion: I'd like another season in the Championship under Carrick, smash it, and be a much more attractive proposition for the Prem the season after. Having said that, promotion via the playoffs wouldn't be unwelcome, I just wonder if we'd be ready.

We had a man sent off it wasn't as bad as this at all. But yeah level of opposition makes it worse.
On the ball we’ve created chances scored a couple and done ok, not at our best but done enough. It’s without the ball today, a failure to put tackles in, and do the basics of defending like show koroma onto his left

We've usually bounced straight back after a defeat under Carrick's management. I'm just happy to be at the right end of the table and to still be in the mix for the playoffs. I'm not really that bothered about promotion. I like The Championship.

What did those international managers about to our players during the break. Terrible performance all game even the first half when Huddersfield let us have the ball. Got into our faces 2nd half and couldn’t handle it.

Absolute bollox there’s no such thing as not being ready or even being ready.

One of those days. There was a period at the start of the second half when they couldn't do a thing wrong if they tried. A stumble became a body swerve, a ricochet off the knee turned into a slide rule pass. In saying that, they took their chances well and we didn't really collapse.
