Mick Saxby. Another banker. He is nailed on like. Probably only need to vote on one centre back.

Alan wright, we make an exception to the 5 game rule for this gadge. The single worst individual performance I’ve ever seen, I was half cut, block 17 looking down the line, his performance still stands out on its own
Seem to recall he played RB against Derby and was absolutely tortured by McMinn and Gabbiadini. We were 3-0 down at HT and he got subbed?? Finished 4-2 if my memory is correct (which more often than not isn't!).Am sure I can remember Keith O'Halloran playing left back for us once and he was terrible. Might have been under Robbo at Ayresome.
Yes that's it. He was a midfielder by trade so will let him off.Seem to recall he played RB against Derby and was absolutely tortured by McMinn and Gabbiadini. We were 3-0 down at HT and he got subbed?? Finished 4-2 if my memory is correct (which more often than not isn't!).
Managers fault though, not his, he was only an average RB mindHe played a lot of games at left back though. I used to sit in the North East corner on row 6. He was right in front of me. I couldn't believe how bad he was
He was LB at Ipswich and signed as a LB and played games at Pb, we converted to CB because he was tall? He was still rubbish thereI'm sure Whelan was a centre back. Can't remember him ever playing left back but could be wrong.
Can’t remember what period he played LB but he was poor there and played a sizeable number of games there.Again I don't think Whyte played left back in the prem for us. Left sided centre back in a back 3 I think (Wilder would've loved him). Was decent in the first season up.
Our memories of that time don't seem to align . Possible one of us has somehow fallen into a parallel universe without realising it......
True...IIRC he played against Keegan at St James as a left backOne of the worst left back performances I saw was in the early 80's by a player who took us on a fantastic journey, Tony Mowbray. He was a kid thrown into a desperate side playing out of position.
In your universe maybeCan’t remember what period he played LB but he was poor there and played a sizeable number of games there.
with John Brownlie at RB probably our worst ever full back pairing.Joe Bolton without question.
This. 100%with John Brownlie at RB probably our worst ever full back pairing.
Utter rubbish. If you follow that then Pears and Platt were also lucky. As was SchwarzerGuzan was alot better than Dimi.. Dimi was lucky he had the leagues best left back, arguably the leagues best centre back pairing and the leagues best defensive midfielder in front of them.
