terrible corporate ethics
poor quality of food and drink products
driven local smaller pubs out of business through market forces
terrible atmosphere
little to no entertainment
badly paid and treated staff
If you have any morals, any sense of common decency you'd boycott them. Don't be so weak you that terrible practices and government help can be ignored in the search for a cheap pint of mild. Have some respect. No !

They are all ran by the same companyYou can not be serious about the drink products, although I'll give you the wine selection is not good.
The ones I use have a huge range of top spirits, lagers and real ales. The Ruddles is particularly good. Probably because of the price, it turns over so quickly.
Not all Weatherspoons are the same btw.
It is a fine session beer and as I say it turns over so it is alway lovely and fresh. At least it is where I go.I'd have to be paid more than £1.30 to drink a pint of Ruddles.
But they are not all the same, atmosphere, quality of drinks, no of alcoholics per 100 customers.... etc. They are all ran by the same company
A bit like those snobs who claim they wouldn't set foot in Aldi or Liddle. The type of people who boycott Wetherspoon's are the types of people who would never set foot in them in the first place.
I know what you mean but I did occasionally go in them until brexit. I actively avoid now and just choose alternatives. The type of people who boycott Wetherspoon's are the types of people who would never set foot in them in the first place.
