Boycoutt Weatherspoons, people of Middlesborough

Most of the decent ales are always ‘coming soon’ Their selection is usually rubbish, Doom Bar, Ruddles and Abbot are cheap tasteless tat. I do not want to see what isn’t available as it is a friggin wind up. Get a decent selection of darker beers in too, Old Ales, Stouts and Porters etc, not just this pale, lager coloured, flowery, summer filth that they sell to the sheep who are happy because it is cheap. As pubs go, they are often soulless these days. Lloyds no1 are the worst of the worst.

If you have any morals, any sense of common decency you'd boycott them. Don't be so weak you that terrible practices and government help can be ignored in the search for a cheap pint of mild. Have some respect.

You can not be serious about the drink products, although I'll give you the wine selection is not good.
The ones I use have a huge range of top spirits, lagers and real ales. The Ruddles is particularly good. Probably because of the price, it turns over so quickly.


Not all Weatherspoons are the same btw.

They are all ran by the same company
 
Have done for years. Horrible owner, horrible ethos. Similarly, I try and keep an eye on who funds the tory party. Warburtons don't get my money either. Not that they'll notice, I just prefer to buy ethically where possible. Loads of gaps in my knowledge of such companies, I just do what I can.
