It’s just more players to change in the summer. We need players who can be here long term and with some sell on value or we will never progress

If that was an option it’s worth it, but these current loan players I can’t see us being in a position to buy a single one this summer, so it’s yet again going to be a full scale rebuild

Steffen - if we went up maybe
Giles - great champo wingback
Mowett - coming back for injury
Muniz - Fulham don’t want him
Don't think we’d need a rebuild with Roberts in the squad, Giles might not be best suited to our different style of play.. Mowett? No idea, need a big rebuild in midfield. January and the Summer!
Might be worth trying to pick up Muniz? no way are Fulham getting £7m back. £3m-£4m maybe? He seems happy here at least.

Agree totally JM.
Loanees are either young and inexperienced, dont fit at their existing club, have nowhere to go or at the end of their useful footballing lives. Few ever have any "investment" or "engagement" with the club and often just treat it as a pay-packet.
Always exceptions: but we have an academy, an astute Chairman and a club big enough to attract quality players. We have a class Head Coach - with a senior history of experience at the highest level. We need to have players capable of performing at the top and with quality. We cant build a successful team out of the cheap bucket at a jumble sale.

a little quality goes a long way in the championship.. it doesn’t have to be expensive either.

Steffan will be in the premier league next year, we won’t. I can’t see us getting Giles again unless we go up, or another club will come in and buy him.
Mowatt is terrible so I can’t see us bothering again
Fulham bought munez as a development striker and he did ok last year and has done so far for us, not a chance he’s lost value and no way would they happily take a loss on him at this stage. Only way we get him back is another loan

To be perfectly honest there's only Steffen who I would really miss next season, the others we can cope with losing, none have been absolute successes.

A lad at work was bigging garnacho up and he showed me the highlights of his game in Europe. He looks a tricky player very easy on the eye but there was little end product.
I don't think he would be ready for the championship nevermind man u first team. He looked decent in a good team but he would be another risk
I would prefer us to buy a player who we can develop for ourselves.

no way would Pellistri or Garnacho drop to Div 1 . And if anyone can sign Garnacho for £850k I will go to Ramsdens tomorrow for a loan !
And FD Bashiru for £100k can stay in my spare room .( our lass would not be happy like as its her dressing room)
Jason Knight is OOC June so he might get on that list.
I do like Aaron Collins and Anis Mehmeti who could be gems.

It's in the bank Drew lad , MC would have insisted he had the funds to invest , £20m is a lot in the championship, add a couple of sales and he will have a bit of play money. I HOPE.

It’s one of them ones for me. January transfer window, roll the dice on a few young lads with next to no financial risk. Square pegs in square holes formation/position/style wise
Sounds like we’ve got a few cooking in the academy kitchen with Pharrell Willis etc
if they are not quite ready, I wouldn’t mind filling the gap with a Man Utd sprog, if he’s not up to their first team.. then we might get first dibs!
Personally I’d prefer if we invested in outer midfield and loaned in attackers.. to get more bang for our buck if nothing else..
