Zaha ahead of Villa: On Instagram - called "black c***" - received picture of KKK and threats to go round his house if scores against Villa!

And yet many deny racism exists, there's odours since brexit, for many its ok to spout this bile. " its just what we are selling thinking"

And that is just as bad by making out racism only goes 1 way.

I do not condone the action of the 12 year old but please don't make that only 1 sided racism exists.

far left are no better. Centre right or centre left the only really peaceful solutions.

Why is politics to blame, why can't we just at home, as adults stop using vulgar words & obscene gestures infront of our kids, as if it's cool & ok
I watched Goggle box the other nightv & a pregnant daughter & dad were watching something & the dad never batted a eye lid when she used the F word, Martin Kemp & his son swearing as if its cool, that's where the problem lies, nip it in the bud at homes & schools

A sickening indictment on us as a society that there are children growing up in environments where that kind of thinking is normal, even encouraged. Because it's not just one 12 year old, is it. We don't have to look far to see (so-called) adults who routinely post such stuff on internet forums. They have kids and this is where we end up.
Rascism is nothing new. When I was a lad in 60's and 70's it was atrocious.
Shocking rascism all the way during school.

Although I grew up in that environment I pretty soon realised that it was wrong.

Hopefully one day it will be totally eradicated.

A 12 year old knows duck all about Brexit and probably wouldn't care.

Obvious that the root of the issue is the lad's education and home life.
Agree totally, Brexit is an easy I told you so debate, nothing at all to do with Brexit, home life & school is where he will learn all the stuff he think is ok to start posting vile comments

Brexit exposed big divides in Britain and led to a rise in arguments and nasty debates so is part of the atmosphere at the moment but the main issue has been the rise in right wing populism e.g. Trump. Agree though that far left is also bad.

So nothing like this happened before Brexit, total nonesence

Have to wonder what sort of home environment that lad is in to be coming out with that at 12 year old. What the **** are the parents doing?

Who do you think is putting those thoughts into the kids head?
There's no getting away from the rise in racism since brexit yes its always been there but there's no doubt the vote polarised and legitimated those thoughts for many.

Exactly. What sort of environment is this kid living in.

Is it just the parents or the extended family and his peer group?

Racism is absolutely rife in our society, no matter how much some people dont want to believe this its true. Only need to overhear a few conversations while in public to realise that blatant racism is the norm in many peoples lives, and its naive to think this wont be passed down to these peoples children.

There has been an increase in hate crime since Brexit petty much in the same way that racial tensions arose after the West Indians arrived on the windrush. Also the Uganda Asians fleeing Idi Amin.

'They're coming to take your jobs kids and we need to stop them'

Whispering in the ears of those poorly educated and gullible.

We've got a racist prime minister.. i'll just let that sink in.
Racism has been around since before Brexit
We've got a racist prime minister..
Kids can end up saying some really horrible **** on the internet, especially if they are trying to impress a set of ignorant idiotic kids or their parents are racist and they think it is the norm
We've got a racist prime minister..
Our prime minister is racist
There's proof
He's been pulled up on
He refuses to apologize
We've got a racist prime minister

like I said Brexit exposed the divisions, they were there already but Brexit bought them out into the open. It is simple fact that there has been a rise in right wing populism in the last decade and Brexit was part of that as was Trump and Boris. More recently there has been a backlash from far left. We do not live in happy times! HAving said this none of us really know why a 12 year old kid made racist remarks and I guess we never will.

I`ve often wondered what this "far left" is meant to mean?
Its a paper tiger used by racists to distract others from seeing their racism for what it is.
I dont recall a Socialist Worker seller at the ANL Carnival in Hackney calling my mate Keith a "black ****"
Or Dave from the Communist Party picketing Tom Robinson concerts for being a "**** stabber"?
Or The Specials telling the audience to go "go p*** bashing"
But I have endured scum in green pilot jackets daubed in swastikas giving Nazi salutes at Madness Concerts.
I recall two gay lads in a pub having battery acid chucked all over them by a nazi fanatic - both disfigured and burnt.

Maybe your right, but I would say if he here's it at home then he see's it as normal
