Your 3 ‘non-negotiables’

What are your 3 non-negotiables, the absolute bear minimum, that you expect from a Boro player when on the pitch, and did they meet those today for you?

The second half has papered over the first half for me. It was completely unacceptable and one of the worst collective displays I’ve seen from any Boro team.

44 minutes of nothingness. No drive, no ambition, no bravery, no fight, no pride.

Your non-negotiables and did the team show them first half/today…?

1.Hard work,
2. Bravery (to take responsibility and get on the ball).

I don't really expect anything else, I can't really complain about a lack of ability when they cross the white line, just want to see a team of committed players.

The problems at the club run far deeper than what we see on the pitch.

Aggression, Determination & Fast Feet

I didn’t see enough of it. McNair stood like a statue in front of his man.. I want him closer and to use the trunk of his body to move that player out of the way, Deal Fry.. I want him a Lot more aggressive. The manager sets the tone for the team.. his greatest attributes are his aggression and passion. He dialled it too far back today. Leo needs another Leo! How many decisions did the ref get away with? How did the keeper not get booked for throwing his hands in faces?

Determination, I see it in Muniz.. not so much in Giles. When he runs to the keeper.. keep it going, put him under pressure, force the mistake. Good going forward.. be the same getting back, winning the ball back.

Fast feet, taking two, three unnecessary touches.. all the time in the world? I don’t like it, don’t like the dawdling. Don’t treat the ball as if you never expected to receive it… why did you want it in the first place?

We are not far away! on a side note, glad to see Mowett gone, wasterman, his head’s not in the game. Get him gone. No room for passengers here, you’re either in or you’re out.
