Should be banned and the parent/guardian who attended with him should be as well.
Did anyone ever tell you sarcasm is the lowest form of wit? Would you rather see a repeat of last seasons antics and it to become a free for all which it was becoming? Children running on the pitch to take photos with their heroes?
Maybe it would please you if the club is eventually fined for not keeping their fans in order? Or would you prefer points to be docked?
Young offender, maybe a lesser crime as a lesser physical risk to the players etc.
Still have to punish him in some way though, potential ban for the remainder of the season and maybe next year also. Hard to ban his dad, as he never invaded the pitch and the kid might have ran off on their own, but I suppose he's meant to be the responsible party.
May seem a bit harsh but you need to set a precedent, and it can't really be one rule for one and another for others etc.
Too much of a punishment.A 1 match ban isn't much of a punishment.
They would have to do that on the pitch though, and those defeating the object, or would that be then classed as an offence and the punishment repeat, and so on?I would suggest a similar punishment to the one that Cersei had in Game of Tgrones but I don't know whether he has a brother.
The thing is none of those things you mention, if not carried out, would be a criminal offence, entering the pitch is. Basically you are saying anyone entering the pitch should not be prosecuted, where do you draw your personal line?I'd prefer everyone to go to the game and do exactly as they are told:
Turn up and be in the seats 10 mins before the game (much like the theatre)
Sing the national anthem loud and proud
Clap for appropriate good passages of play (maybe we could be told which are good)
Be passive for any bad moments of play (booing leads to instant decapitation)
Stay right until the final whistle
Shake hands with each member of the opposing fans
Return home to watch I'm a celebrity on repeat
