Young Pitch Invader

Did anyone ever tell you sarcasm is the lowest form of wit? Would you rather see a repeat of last seasons antics and it to become a free for all which it was becoming? Children running on the pitch to take photos with their heroes?

Maybe it would please you if the club is eventually fined for not keeping their fans in order? Or would you prefer points to be docked?

I'd prefer everyone to go to the game and do exactly as they are told:
Turn up and be in the seats 10 mins before the game (much like the theatre)
Sing the national anthem loud and proud
Clap for appropriate good passages of play (maybe we could be told which are good)
Be passive for any bad moments of play (booing leads to instant decapitation)
Stay right until the final whistle
Shake hands with each member of the opposing fans
Return home to watch I'm a celebrity on repeat

Young offender, maybe a lesser crime as a lesser physical risk to the players etc.

Still have to punish him in some way though, potential ban for the remainder of the season and maybe next year also. Hard to ban his dad, as he never invaded the pitch and the kid might have ran off on their own, but I suppose he's meant to be the responsible party.

May seem a bit harsh but you need to set a precedent, and it can't really be one rule for one and another for others etc.

A 1 match ban isn't much of a punishment.

I would suggest a similar punishment to the one that Cersei had in Game of Tgrones but I don't know whether he has a brother.
They would have to do that on the pitch though, and those defeating the object, or would that be then classed as an offence and the punishment repeat, and so on?

They could do a walk of shame around the bottom of the stand/ seats but the guys in the lower rows would get covered in all sorts too.

What if the lad is called Shane? The lad might thing the crowd are chanting in support of him?

Have they sent the kid who was after Wayne Rooney’s autograph to Rwanda yet?

Also all the Chelsea fans in the West Stand lower for the cup game.

Fans flooded the pitch at the end of Notts County v Boreham Wood semi-final.
Should they all be locked in notts nick?
Or maybe chained together an placed in the dungeons of Nottingham castle.
Perhaps branding them with hot poker or spray painting?
A 7.62 from a Belgian FN through their bum-bags might frighten them to get off the green stuff.
Or what I saw at the old Estadio Nacional in Lima - build a ten foot pit around the pitch, and have armed dog-handlers patroling it, then a high fence. It did make watching the game a bit of a problem!

The thing is none of those things you mention, if not carried out, would be a criminal offence, entering the pitch is. Basically you are saying anyone entering the pitch should not be prosecuted, where do you draw your personal line?

Is it anyone or age related. If you said 18 yrs old, why should someone aged 17 yrs 364 days old be ok? Is it ok then for 1 kid to get away then 10 kids then 100 kids? Nobody, should and it is the only way to deal with it how the club does.
Does the co-op ban people from stores ever, or is criminal behaviour permitted when undertaken within the store?

The kid, the adult with them should both be dealt with as per the law and club policy. If people don’t like it, then keep away.

Why should it be a criminal offence, it's an area of grass?

If people are committing offences once they're on the grass, assault for instance, then they should be prosecuted. Not for just running on to the grass.

What a ridiculous law it is. A game is being played, nothing of importance. A game.

‘Basically you are saying anyone entering the pitch should not be prosecuted, where do you draw your personal line?’

Nope, not saying that.
I am saying we have become really happy to try and make football fans out as absolute demons for all sorts of reasons.

It is, tho, reassuring we have so many citizens leading a fully compliant life style telling people like me we should abide all laws.
It makes Britain great
