You are the manager for Wednesday

As I have mentioned before, I would be intrigued to see a North/South American front two. Hoppe and Muniz together. You never know until it’s tried, it could be a pleasant surprise, and if it isn’t, what’s the worst that can happen? Just sub one for Akpom, Forss or Watmore.

As for Boro, I'd give @Diego 's side a try. Though whatever side we pick at the moment I worry about the lack of pace and dynamism.

I just think whatever formation we go for we're missing that midfield runner to get into them and set the tone for the performance. Over the years people like Mustoe, Boatang, Ince getting at the opposition from the off, into their faces really got everyone going, team-mates, the crowd etc. Number one job to address when the transfer window reopens for me.
 
I’d keep wingback system but have Giles switch to right side and have Watmore on the left. Upfront I’d keep Akpom and Muniz.

Maybe it’s worth a try keeping McGree and Mowatt in the middle together and have Howson as the DM, and Crooks as the floating midfielder.

To try and get some legs into midfield. also think bola works some nice little triangles at times so could link up with giles more. Jones out we need some pace and power outwide, there isnt much choice so would go with dijksteel. Give Hoppe a chance no reason other than the rest have been poor.
