We are 'giving away' two forwards who cost us 22mil and a small fortune in wages. What a f*cking tremendous bit of transfer business (you could include Rudy and Braithwaite in that).
Fletcher is the best we have. That's clearly used very loosley as he's simply never done it over 4 years.
I simply can't believe that we can't find better for cheaper? I'm not fussed either way and definitely wouldn't break the bank to keep him.
God knows how we are practically replacing the whole forwards line with no money coming in for the out going one (other than freeing up wages).
It's finally seeing the end of Monks disastrous spending spree. That's 4 years and 3 managers later. The likes of pulis / woody and Warnock have probably been stiffled in the transfer market but these two. They simply haven't been good enough yet we couldn't move them on because no fecker can pay them what we do.
Just move him and Britt on and go with a clean slate. I
