Unbelievable really, very strong rumours of Rock va Reigns like. The product has improved since Vinny mac retired. I'm more into my AEW but I still love WWE .

Wish they'd go back to one night though, 2 5 hour nights is horrible when you've got kids to get up with haha

I would prefer 1 night but sadly the majority prefer the 2.

Shame he's coming back.

Is wrestling big now or what? Whenever I watch it I just think it looks rubbish nowadays and the characters aren’t endearing in any way. Admittedly I’m no longer the target audience. I’m not anti-wrestling btw I was obsessive about it throughout the 90s and early 00s. Roman Reigns seems to always be champion.

Bash at the beach when Hogan turned on Savage, Sting and Luger and formed the nWo with Hall & Nash was the start of the wrestling boom

Hmm, definitely the start of the Monday Night wars but surely WWF was booming from late 80s onwards? Hogan v Warrior in 1990 was pretty big news!

I've not watched it a lot since the days of Stone Cold, The Rock, DX, The Road Dog et al. That was the best era for me. Now its too PG and it feels like kids chucking playground insults around.

Exactly how I feel. That was the true golden age. Back then it was also only recently that “kayfabe” stopped being a thing, but now, with the internet etc, it feels like most people know what’s going to happen for every show anyway.

The likes of Comcast, Disney, Amazon and Netflix are all interested parties in the upcoming sale of the company. It makes a profit every year, even during the COVID era it was still making money. Granted it's a niche market but it's still incredibly popular around the world, especially in America x Mexico and the UK.
