Would Tamworth prefer Extra Time or a replay?

I see Tamworth have a Liburd. Anyone know if he's related to Richard?

I think he was from Nottingham, so Tamworth's not too far away.

Over 120 minutes Spuds should always prevail on fitness alone…most of the Tamworth lads are part time as Sam Twatterface keeps reminding us!

The likes of Klopp were very vocal.

I particularly resented Klopp's involvement, since he in particular was the advocate for his high intensity "heavy metal" football.

His tactics, as much as the fixture list, were responsible for his players getting injured.

Competitions should not be changed to accommodate particular tactics. You have to adapt your tactics to suit the competitions that you're in.

From a financial point of view a replay.

I'd argue from a footballing point of view too.

Fans, players, owners all benefit from the big day out at Tottenham.

Easy to be wise after the event, but semi-pros are aways going to tire againt professionals in extra time, particulalry when Spurs can even increase quality from the bench.

I don't really understand the argument that is being made here. Holding a team to a draw gives smaller teams a much better chance to progress as penalties massively lowers the skill gap, and you are more likely to fluke a win over the course of 90 or 120 minutes than you are over 180 or 210. Witness our game against Utd at old trafford a couple of years ago and compare it to our 180 against Chelsea in the league cup last year.

More chance you'll get bigger teams putting out a proper line up without the risk of an extra match also. Someone please tell Michael Carrick this.

How does getting less money but a bigger chance to win spoil "the magic of the cup". I think this is a good change. The cup should be about small teams knocking out big teams not money.

Exactly, we all complained about money being behind our ludicrous KO time yesterday.

Spurs would have won a reply easily. Tamworth would have boosted their coffers. But they wouldn’t have had a better chance of winning than today. And if they did win, then more ££££
