I was there , saw Gilbert v McGuire then Ronnie v Bingham when the screen went up

I’d like to back Bingham as he is a canny bloke but I backed Wilson last year who lost 13.2 to Higgins. This year he beats Higgins. Gilbert has always been steady and his getting his mojo back. Jones has come from nowhere. Three qualifiers in the last four. Wow. It’s like watching the Championship!

I couldn't call myself a snooker fan by any stretch, but I've really enjoyed this championship. I really don't mind who wins it's been great to watch.
