How many hours do you work for free, for me its usually around 3, can be upto 8 during busy times. Getting to a point in life where i might start saying "sod it im going home"

Used to do about 5 extra a week, just by coming in early, staying back a bit late. Overtime had to be pre-authorised.

Once they made the choice not to pay any overtime whatsoever because I was salaried, I refused to do any requested extra hours and became something I hate, a clock watcher who left on the dot. It cuts both ways
