Woody in charge at Bournemouth?

I would have thought Lampard had earned a bigger job than that now, no offence Afcb_Acklam.
Woodgate the PowerPoint master will be looking to ace the interview.

Would be very surprised if Lampard rushes back in like that. He will wait for a premier league job I would imagine. But then again, if he goes to Bournemouth and gets a team promoted that will look very good on his CV. But if he goes there and does badly could backfire. Risky one

In fairness what have they to offer apart from a very rich owner? Pokey, little ground and a history associated with the lower divisions. Have done exceptionally well and if “ punching above your weight” is ever applicable this club epitomises it. Can’t see them being that much of a draw for a really decent manager!

I would say zero chance. Rumour has he had a massive fallout when he left, but also he knows he has to go somewhere else next, new challenge & all that. Lampards looking most likely.
Pity I was looking forward to his smirk (actually he's just got a wonky smile) driving everyone into paroxysms of rage on here. :giggle:

Jonathan Woodgate might well be the man for the job... as long as he doesn't bring in Robbie Keane as his assistant.

No doubt Eddie Howe will bring him along when he pitches up at his new job. Newcastle?
It's a funny one when it comes to Eddie Howe, he's been at Bournemouth as a player, coach and manager, since he was a young kid, with the exception of a shirt, unsuccessful stint at Burnley (IIRC).

Makes you wonder whether he can do it elsewhere, which is why I think a bigger club didn't take a chance on him when he was getting the plaudits at Bournemouth.

Reporter from Skysports seems to think that it won't be an internal appointment. That'll rule out Woodgate. When you think about it, it was such a bizarre move to appoint him.

Anyone catch Eddie Howe’s barnet on MOTD?? Not the north London club but the strange thing on his head. Has he had a hair transplant or something?

Watford sacked the manager - just one so far?
Bournemouth- sack the manager
Shows how good Farke is at this level
Farke is irritating.

His skills mean Norwich blitz the championship, but he can't keep them up in the Premier League where they look like whipping boys. He's done it twice now and he doesn't learn. I find it annoying because other teams can't seem to counter Norwich in the Championship so one promotion spot is gone pretty much from day 1, leaving about 8 teams fighting for the other. I'd like Norwich to not get promoted for once and see if the other promoted teams could do better.

I'd like to see Brentford have a shot at it as well as us.
