I don't get this having a pop at fans for having an opinion, good or bad
There are some big Boro fans on here who post intelligently on how they see the present set up / regime & get ticked off for it by some
It doesn't make those a less of a fan for stating their opinion, infact if they stopped going & I know most won't, doesn't mean they won't be a fan

Agree with this very much, hopeso doesn’t offer an opinion though and is a clear troll who’s sole purpose on the board is to snipe at fans. Surely it’s something you’ve noticed. Also hopeso had a pop at me and Col before skirmish posted his remark so surely your comment should be aimed at hopeso rather than skirmish

Block, my post has nothing to do with skirmish one bit & if thinks its aimed at him it isnt, I also know the undeserved stick Col has taken, he's as good a fan as anyone on this forum, or people I know go to games also

Ok good. Who was it aimed at then? Hopefully hopeso as he was the only one being cocky as per usual

I never realised people who miss games stopped being fans :eek: Funny what you learn on here, always an education on flyme. I wonder how many that post on this thread have missed games or stopped going. Steve Gibson himself has missed games, so therefore even he stopped going at some point, so even he isn’t a fan. Some weeks you are a fan some not. It all makes sense now. I know someone who only attends about 10 home games a season, never ever been to an away game, what a charlatan he clearly must be. Why have I never realised :unsure:

I dont go as much as I once did, a good few years back I never missed a home game for nigh on 20 years, friendlies included, regularly travelled to away games, not been away for a number of years now, I maybe go to 8 - 12 home matches a season, I still consider myself a Boro fan, my brother in law lives in Canada, he watches Boro when he can on his TV, when he visits us we all go to the games, he's a fan
Infact I reckon there quite afew on here who live all over the world & dont go regularly but are still fans
All about opinions mind & disagreeing with me or not wont make me a less of a fan in my eyes

Never understood this, we have fans all over the world, just because people don't attend the match everyweek doesn't mean they are any less of a fan, some people will be dying on going but maybe can't afford it or have family commitments, very naive comment from barnsy.
