Wonderful evening, despite the result

I was invited to see Russell Brand tonight, my daughter's fella couldn't make it and she asked me to stand in. I loved it. I didn't know what to expect but I thought he was excellent.

I wanted to watch the match but only caught the second half and what a display. I didn't expect us to take the game to them in such a fashion, top quality football just lacking that bit of luck to produce a goal. Undone by a wonderful header, not the end of the world, or the season. Produce that quality for the rest of the season and we'll take some stopping.

There is nothing better than spending quality time with your children. I went to see Tim Peake at the Globe with my eldest son and we had a few beers afterward. It was great chatting one to one about our family, work, etc.

Nice to see we can still produce the football without Jones but we can’t afford to be so profligate in front of goal with so few games remaining.
Sometimes it happens in football, it's why we got to face Spurs, Man Utd missed sitters and a penalty in normal time against us, we took one of very few chances.

At this level we're doing ok, play as we did tonight and we have nothing to worry about, we're not facing that quality of opposition again.

I used to enjoy Brand but recently he just seems to be turning into a bit of a t*t. He was good though?
