With Chelsea only selling 500

Doubtful, Chelsea had already bought their allocation.

Buying them back would probably count as income for Chelsea.
 
As said above Chelsea have bought the block and believe doing a refund is against Sanction rules that is bonkers. However regardless the tickets are sold just no fan be in the seat lol so no loss of income for boro maybe in the concourse sales but not in term of seats
 
Is that how it works? I thought that all tickets sold the money goes to the home team. And isn’t FA cup different where the gate money is split at a set %?
 
Chelsea could return them surely?

I hope Chelsea can sell them to their fans, but in that unlikely event it's daft the setas sit empty.
 
You'd end up sharing the concourse with them. So, No.
