But he needs to work on his overall game and his on pitch awareness as at times his naivety has cost him. Plus just because you can it doesn’t mean have to shoot from anywhere.
 
The pass through to Fletcher 8 yds out would have been a nice tap in if it didn't hit row Z.
 
I agree with your sentiments but I just think at this level in this league a central mf needs more than long shot, because at the mo he’s basically a special teams player. He’s like a kicker there to fulfil that role.
He needs to round of his overall game, he has a great talent but I think his overall game needs more.
 
I wonder how many points he has won us with goals from outside the box? And this from a player who has been poor, apparently.

He’s got his limitations. We did get him from non league after all.

But at least he is willing to try something with his passing and has a go at goal (which we were crying out for yesterday). This is more than some players are doing in our midfield.

We just need to remember that he isn’t Pirlo and not everything will come off.
 
I never said he was poor just that I thinker ( the management) at times expect to much from him as you say he came from non league.
 
He wasn't as poor as McNair, Nmecha, Moukoudi, Howson, Saville, Spence, Assombalonga, Gestede.

Coulson was poorer second half but had a good second half. Fletcher was our best player. Friend and Pears had ok games like Wing.
