Wine Club

Been a member of Virgin wine club for a few years now. You don't get a monthly case delivery you just pay into the wine club account and gain interest to spend on any wine they offer. They regularly offer cases to buy with "savings" but I'm not sure what they declare as the bottle price is what anyone would actually pay. You can build your own case and choose your own wines if you want. I pay £20 a month and get a couple of cases a year usually. It's handy for Christmas but some of the wines are a bit repetitive and boring.

Similar to Naked Wines although you dont earn interest. I usually get 8 or 9 cases a year (13 bottles in each IIRC) and then the christmas box which costs a couple of hundred quid but apparently you save hundreds given its contents (although I'm not 100% sure of that myself).

I like going to our local wine merchants although I'm always stuck when he asks "what are you looking for, and how much do you want to spend" and fudge an answer making me look the complete novice about wine that I am.
