I tried to get one of the flats built in the stands but there weren't any available at the time.

Yes, sadly 3 & a half games the following season, his last Boro game, away to WBA, on the 3rd September 1977 seen both Cyril Regis & Billy Ashcroft make their debuts, Cyril Regis scored & WM book extra time he wrote Cyril Regis woukdnt have scored against a fit Willie Maddren
 
Loved watching willie play ... watched him right from his early days as a utility player.... sheer class and when Boam came that was a marriage made in heaven .... His autobiog is a must read (Extra Time)

I’ve just looked them up on google, it looks very good, I didn’t realise they had maintained it in that way. I’d imagine they cost a bob or two
