Will Rooney still be Birmingham Manager by Christmas?

Just looking at the mid-week results and thats another defeat for Birmingham under Wazza, I think his record is played 7, lost 5, won 1 and drew 1.

4 points from a possible 21. His only win is against rock bottom Wednesday, and they have plummeted to 16th from the play offs.

Ouch.

On borrowed time? or is he the right image for the new owners so will persevere with him?

Either way, I'm personally quite amused its going so schit for him.

Birmingham had the opposite start to what we had and then mirrored our run of wins with dropping points. I honestly thought this could have been the year Brum got amongst the mix.

Has to be one of the most baffling appointments in recent times, especially considering Birmingham were doing fairly well.

I always thought he did well with Derby but it looks more and more that Liam Rosenior was the brains behind them.
Definitely for me.

I think there's probably case to be made that he perhaps inspired the players a bit. Backs against the wall, the world's against us, seige mentality type thing. Possibly the perfect scenario for him and his status as a former player.

But nothing I've heard from Rooney convinces me he's a deep thinker of the game by any stretch. Whereas Rosenior seems pretty impressive.

I put this to my mate who's a derby fan before Rooney took the job and he was having none of it. Definitely all Rooney apparently...... but then he's a Derby and his take on most things football is pretty ****.😁
