Wilder

More than a few, because Wilder was fantastic for about 5 months. To say otherwise is nonsense.
The football we played was fantastic.
Some great results.
Beating Spurs, what a night - though that was maybe when he decided he was too good for us.
If you thought he was a bad manager in those first few months then you were probably a lone voice. Not sure what you could have based it on. It wasn't until 'Burnley' that the cracks started to show and the fanbase started to split.
I thought he was the Messiah and I wouldn’t shut up about him to my mates… even with the Burnley link, a part of me was convinced it was some amazing tactic/ploy he was pulling. It wasn’t until it become evident that he’d lost the players and results went south that I lost faith, I personally had quite a similar trajectory with Karanka… after his no show, where was that? Charlton I think! Right now I’m banging the Carrick drum… why shouldn’t I..!!!

Hope it was vegan. It's very 'fash' and on trend to have a vegan sandwich these days. Wilder just miffed as he's old skool carnivore , asked what it was , coz he fancied a bite,, then was frozen in fear when realised it wasn't a meat sandwich . No coming back from that .

Carrick is a much more humble bloke than either of those clowns despite having a superior playing career than both (Karanka's wasn't bad to be fair)

I think it comes down to him giving off the appearance that he thought he was too good for us, that is pretty much unforgivable for a lot of people.

With Wilder, the biggest annoyance for me was that we (i.e. him, the club and the fans) had a great opportunity to get a good thing going. The football was good, crowds were up, we'd beaten 2 Premier League teams and we were still in with a good shout of the play-offs where we surely would have made a better fist of it than we did with Pulis's containment plan. His hubris brought it all crashing down, first with the Burnley link, then chucking everyone under the bus after the last game of the season at Preston and then finally by sulking over transfers. It was all completely self-inflicted.

There isn't anybody in the whole of football at the moment, let alone associations with boro, who i hate more than this prat.

I'm ashamed he was once part of our club.

How could anybody want to play for somebody like that?

I quite often pass Crooks walking his dog, and the one question id love to ask him is what he really thinks of Wilder (i wouldn't ask him fyi).

I remember coming out of an operation recovery room and Professor Greenoff, who had operated on me, was stood eating an apple. In my delirium, I was thinking 'Why's he eating an apple when he's supposed to be operating on me'.

I was full of drugs at the time, I'm not sure what Wilder's excuse is. If he was running up the touchline eating a sandwich, I could understand it.

Like many others, I never thought he would get a job above Division One and he can call himself lucky that Sheff Utd are so ferked they went for him. This season will be the last time he can call himself a Premier League manager, he will never get that high again.

You can see why the players dislike him. Arrogance as well as being a pillock as a boss doesn't not go down well and eventually they have no respect for him. Sheff U are heading one way with him in charge.

I sometimes wonder if Sheff Utd are having their own competition of 'most hated manager' with the previous appointment of Heckingbottom and now Wilder. 🤣 🤣 🤣
