We brought on Bamba in the 90th minute, replacing Jones who had been playing through the pain for the entire match.

Why was it a terrible mistake?

It's not like he specifically lost his man for the consolation goal, Powell went past multiple players to tap it in

Sporar did the square root of **** all in the entire match, him going off changed nothing.

It does make a difference, it impacts our likelihood of a Sheff Utd draw allowing us into 6th.
But agree it finished 3-1 and not 4-0 due to a bit of slack play at both ends, not the formation.

If we had been winning 2-1 and scored as late as Stoke did to make it 3-1 it would have been brilliant, but to get to 3-0 and defend with 10 behind the ball and 1 up front was criminal imo. Got exactly what we deserved for our shocking attempt to close the game out.

Our defence let them score a really soft goal. They hadn't had a sniff before. Sorry but the subs changed the game. We stopped pressing and had less going forward. Wilder or Knill got it wrong. We should have just swapped Sprorar for Coburn and carried on as we were. If Jones was injured bring Bola on and put Tav at RWB. The subs were wrong.
