Wilder; to Aberdeen?

Perfect job for Wilder. He could make a real impact in that league and also convince himself he is in a top league at a top club with a great European pedigree.

He will tell the fans he is there for the long haul whilst furiously updating his CV after every victory, keeping a hopeful eye on potential Premier League opportunities.

wilder liked him, but wasn't exactly gonna need him when we had giles on the books and thought was best he went out on loan as hadn't really shown much in his previous loan

robson and agnew are just interim staff

As said on the other thread, the perfect job "for him" for now. His inevitable decent start and new manager bounce should see them make the short hop from 7th into the top half before the split and it's more likely than not climbing one more place to 5th should see them into Europe, but even if the Scottish Cup isn't won by a member of the Old Firm then whilst 3rd is probably a stretch too far, 4th shouldn't be beyond him.

He can then spend the summer updating his CV accordingly, basking in the glory that's already halfway done by saying that the club finished 10th the season before and were "languishing in the bottom half" when he took over and are now in Europe (despite the places only being 2 or at most 3 points away currently)

So long as he gets even a half decent song out of them (and players from that league want to be involved in Europe so the better players from lower teams may jump to Aberdeen to help) at the start of next season, the instant a champo club fires it's first. manager (say Birmingham or Blackburn or such like) he will jump ship like he's on the Titanic after forwarding his CV to them along with a covering letter that states a few months at Boro are the only blot on his otherwise sterling record stretching back over 2 decades, blah blah blah...

Once in that championship manager position he will then keep a watchful eye on the Prem sack race for an opportunity to slither off again.

And repeat.

no interest at all in Wilder. Was a knob when he was here after the usual honeynoon start. The Burnley silence finished him in my eyes. Buyer beware.
