At least they have their rugby league team to fall back on though. As bad as I feel for the team and fans, I selfishly hope they don't get the deduction overturned.
I might change my answer if we're safe with games to spare.
Will of course be interesting to see how this affects their in-form players - break the morale or spur them on to continue winning games?
TalkSPORT are wrong.
The only way it's not being taken off this season is if Wigan are relegated without it.
Given they're 8 points above the drop with 6 games left, that's not likely to happen.
That is unless talkSPORT have some new information that wasn't included in the EFL's announcement 19 hours ago.
Brazil doesn’t even know what month it is half the timeDont know mate. Just listening and Brasil and McCoist were talking about it.He finished by saying" we now understand that any penalty will be applied next season".
The original timing was if you go into administration before the end of March the penalty will be this season. With the league being suspended it could make a difference to the dates penalties are applied ?
Just saying what I heard on the radio.
Nope Just ask bob monkhouseI can’t see how the EFL can go back on what they have announced. I’d hazard a guess at Alan Brazil being wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time, would it?
