Why do you do the job that you do?

Did hospitality for 6 years ending up as manager and assistant manager at 2 different restaurants, now I do security in a hospital doing bed watch for vulnerable patients, and door supervisor for various pubs. I do what I do because I needed to do something different and like keeping people safe and spotting people doing things they shouldn't be doing, and in 5 months I haven't been punched in the face yet (just kicked in he legs and nuts and punched in the stomach) just abused and called names, only on bed watch I've actually had to restrain people, which is always last resort

Always liked problem solving with maths. Became an analyst after uni and stayed in that to this day some 20 years later, albeit now running a big team in a FTSE 100. The pay has got, in my opinion, crazy in the last few years so I can’t see myself moving on even if i want to.
