Exactly this. I’d be happy with a big useless lump as long as he put the ball in the net. Judging by the criteria our fans have (must be mobile, must be fast, must be Good at pressing) they’d have written off Mitrovic.
How about we sign a striker who puts the ball in the net.

He was playing for Peterborough mate, they were notoriously guff. You put the chances that fell to Watmore, Sporar, Connolly etc, he puts them away.

Some of our better strikers have been slow off the mark, and can look awful when we've not been dominating and providing chances.
They read the game around the box though, and there's no surprise when they're in the right place at the right time

We don't want to be buying a lower league striker with 70 goals in his last 130 odd games including double figures in this league last season for a poor relegated side, who could be available for a bargain price.
They want us to spend many times more on a striker from Mallorca with 6 career goals to his name, because you know we've learnt from our previous mistakes.

I just like goalscorers. He got 11 for a shocking Peterborough in their champs season, which is more than the vast majority of our strikers have for seasons. So he’s capable of scoring at this level.
Personally, I think he’s worth a punt.
Being perfectly honest, I just like winding Diego up.
