Why are some thread titles in bold?

A thread is in bold if there's a post in it that you haven't read yet.
If you're up to date with the thread then the thread stops being bold text.

Strange that when you hit back on your browser it stays bold, you have to refresh for it to change.

When you press back on your browser, you're going back to the previous version of the page you saw. depending on browser and website config this may force a refresh but usually this is undesired behaviour. If you want a current version of the page, hit refresh, or just click the link for Main Forum instead of using back.

Preferable to the old version of the forum whereby you only new if there was a new reply if you knew which post number you read last and it went up by 1. Plus when hitting back on mobile you usually had to wait about 8 seconds before clicking a link otherwise the page would suddenly jump and you would open the wrong thread. On mobile, anyway.

Clicking main forum involves scrolling back to the top, be good if there was a main forum button on the main header?
