Who is your non-league team?

Yes it was very hard on Shields and other clubs in similar situation.
Hope they can rally round again and do it again when they restart. (y)
Used to frequent the Horsley Hill and The Ship on the old Sunlun Road many moons ago.
Lived next door to Nick Pickering for a short time when he played for the Mackems(y)

I live in Harton Village, Old Ship is my local 👍. Not reopened since lockdown yet ☹️

Real Jaén is the closest but I´ve been with a friend to a few matches of Atletico Mancha Real which is in a little town about 15 minutes drive away. There are at least 6 teams within 45 minutes drive of Jaén. They aren´t officially non-league as that term doesn´t exist here but they are definitely equivalent.

I haven´t been to non-league in England for years but I remember it was a bit blood and thunder. Here they really try to pass the ball. Lots of play acting though.

Granada (la liga) and Córdoba (la segunda) are about 1 hour each.

Often all the way....pride of Derbyshire. Well run club punching well above its weight

I remember watching Often v Ilston (FA Trophy maybe) and Dean Gordon was on the bench for Ilston.
I think alan Hardy has tried to sh** all over local football in Derbyshire and Notts.
Basford have good contacts with Ilston.
That Erewash area is an area rich in quality football.
Mind you, I cant stand Belper or Matlock Town(n);)

Not really adopted team but I trot along to Mickleover FC a couple of times a season to give a bit of regional support for teams up our way like Whitby

Scarborough due to working in malton with a passionate old Scarborough fan , who kept saying they are the real Boro . Couldn't argue with the spelling !

I have a soft spot for Darlington 1883, often went o night Darlo matches with a work mate from Darlo, badly done to by the powers to be & demoted too many leagues, could have finished em off, but they won 2 leagues on the trot & a momentum was growing, could they continue, but lost in the playoffs to be promoted to the National Premier league & now sit in the top half of the national league north, if they'd won that they could have carried on the momentum & back in to the league but I can't see them getting out of there in all honesty, cycled to their new ground last year

One of my favourite non league grounds I cycled to was Beddlington Terriers,

Berwick Rangers (come on the English!!)
1997 we had a family holiday at Haggerston Castle, straight after the 3-3 draw with Liverpool
One day we had a trip to Berwick, I decided to visit Berwicks ground, pulled up outside & walked around, my wife & daughter who was 3 with me, this bloke came out & asked if he could help, I just said can I take some photos, of course he said, he was so helpful, invited us 3 in & took us on to the pitch, I have a photo stood in the tunnel with my daughter on my shoulders, we went in to the managers office, where on the wall is a photo of their famous cup victory over Glasgow Rangers, sat at the main table in the boardroom, showed us the trophy cabinet & when we were leaving he gave a me a book on Berwick Rangers, which I still have, what a lovely man

I think Cordoba got relegated to the Tercera last season Jaen

Edit - sorry, relegated to Segunda B not Tercera
Blimey I forgot about that with them not playing since March. You are correct. What´s going on with them and their half finished stadium??? And Málaga too - how did they get in such a state???
