He did say that ‘the jewel’ might be better off joining in the summer and he may prefer to bring in a championship player for our needs this season. This might be the guy that is out of contract in the summer?

Interesting how he speaks of our needs this season, like he will be here next season.. but in the prem G’WAN LAD!!

Agreed Mart , it should be a done deal now , maybe agreed and going through ,but as Neil said , don't expect too much from him now .
 
If Rooney's lad hadn't signed for Man Utd then it could have been him.
Plays in hot weather - check, Derby is virtually down south.
Doesn't speak English - check, scouse is a foreign language.
Don't expect much this season - check.

I know! That’s exciting to hear he is thinking about next season....but also that he thinks this season might be a bit early to go up....😢
If he thinks this guy might be for next season he could be thinking about his impact in the championship rather than premiership....and why would he consider a player for the summer if he genuinely believed we are good enough to go up...

I personally think if he gets us to the playoffs we’ll do it because of his drive and experience and how the players will give him everything!

Red Herring. He is of Russian Swedish descent and he makes it look like he's not even trying. Like a salmon in the air this lad... only thing is, he's been scouted by Gill...

I was under the impression that it was a striker or an attacking player, so Rodrigo Muniz fits the bill a little more I think. Shame what happened there really because it sounds like we put a lot of work into it.
 
He basically confirmed at as Rodrigo Muniz. He said we had a jewel of a player we were looking at back in january but decided he would be better staying with his current club and looking again in the summer.

Fast forward to now and he confirmed we missed out on Muniz because we waited too long and it was his decision to wait.

Must be Rodrigo Muniz.

I can't understand why any young player would want to play for a soulless club like Fulham anyway. I mean going to an away game and having 200 of your supporters turn up must be depressing

I see your point BoroMart but I think between Boro & Fulham, if we were the only 2 clubs mind, then London would sway it for him
