In the Gazette today Warnock says the link to Dillon Phillips at Charlton isnt true and that he spoke to Charlton about another player and it was them that mentioned Phillips

Wonder who it was Warnock enquired about?

Looking through their squad nobody leaps out...
 
I'm not sure. I doubt anyone knows although we are short of a forward.

It could be Macauley Bonne? 11 goals last season and a big lad. Only 24. I think a few champo clubs are linked with him so I guess he's one of their 'better' players.
 
Can see it being Macauley Bonne. Similar player to Danny Ward who he had at Cardiff and Rotherham , a pest and a good option for us as a rotation forward and will score a fair amount of goals.
 
Just because you've gone down doesn't mean they don't have a few who would improve us. It's hard to tell as we don't see them evey week.

I would expect it to be Bone as linked with 3-4 champo clubs (around 1mil). Also Philips has apparently been superb for the last 2 seasons.

We only pay what we think they are worth. A very much applauded change after the last 3 years. You imagine Warnock when Millwall asked for 7mil for Saville.
 
Could be one of a few if not Bonne maybe Jason Pearce for leadership, or maybe the left back Ben Purrington. Jonny Williams if it was to replace McNair or one of the younger lads they have.
