Where is everyone’s money going?

Left sided centre back, central midfielder, striker still in the offing the Gazette are saying. I’m going Ben Gibson, Ethan Ampadu, Jorgen Strand Larsen. I think the club will make a big push late on for Strand Larsen for big money as the marquee signing.

I can see Larsen happening still. Ben Gibson - not for me. Loved him during his time with us and was sad to see him leave. But that has gone now.

As for the other positions...... I reckon they will come out of left field. Like mowwat.

I think the left sided centre back will be the most interesting! Larsen, Teddy and Greaves looks like the dream ticket. Not sure how much we offered for Greaves with less a year left.. sure they will be after the big bucks now if at all. Maybe Fry will be sold to make up the numbers? an interesting end to the window whatever happens!

Important signings to complete the squad, most important for me is the LCB to give balance to the defence, then a CM and lastly a striker.
We need to cut out mistakes

Need a proven attacking signing to stand any real chance of top 6. Emil Riis would be my preferred signing at this stage if the Armstrong loan ship has sailed.

More in CM would be good. Again, on the attacking side. Bowler would be ideal.

Getting Gibson in and selling Fry would be a demonstrably backwards step. Don't get this LCB tosh. Just get the back 3 back together of Fry McNair Dijksteel with Lenihan as cover.

Muniz to be confirmed Monday and Ampadu and Strand Larsen on deadline day. I think that will be it.

Think we might see a couple of departures too. Maybe Daniels and a few of the youngsters out on loan.

If we get Muniz (when)... I think that could be it for forwards. I simply can't see why we'd get him and Larson. Also added to the fact they want in excess off 11mil. That's ridiculous money.

I think Muniz / Hoppe / Akpom / Watmore and Forss is more than enough presuming Coburn is out on loan. The 5 all offer something different in terms of style and what they can bring (even off the bench).

I expect this much fabled LCB. Although not overly fussed about Gibson. He's on massive money and don't think he's amazing other than being left footed and local links.

Also a young CM from a prem club on loan. I don't think it's a bad thing to keep a few quid back and see where we are in Jan.

So for me it's Muniz. Then probably LCB and Young CM. This of course is also dependent on us selling anyone.

I agree I think our defence and defensive midfield options need up grading more so than having another striker in, too many strikers and we endanger giving some of them the game time they need and we don't get the most from then.
